Frederikshavn FOX Team Nord, (formerly FOX Team Nord) was a Danish women's Handball team, that played their best seasons in the Damehåndboldligaen, the top Danish league. It was founded on the license of Frederikshavn forenede Idrætsklubber. The club has played in both the top flight and the second tier, the Danish 1st Division, but following bankruptcy the team was relegated to the fourth tier of Danish handball, the 3. division.[1]

The team was founded as a fusion between Frederikshavn fI og LSU Sæby in 2001. The team was owned by Fox Team Nord ApS.[2]

Economy

On 4 May 2009 TV2/Nord reported that the team was in serious economic trouble, which the club did not comment on.[2] 3 weeks later the club reported that it was on its way to secure a stable economy for the following season.[3]

24 March 2010 the club declared bankruptcy which relegared the team to the 3rd division for the 2010/11-sæsonen.[1]
